Please consider participating in our Art Drive to support Asheville artists of the River Arts District…
As fellow artists and a creative community, we at Chinatown Soup understand how precious studio spaces are—places where ideas come to life, where art is made, and where friendship lives. In the wake of Hurricane Helene, the River Arts District (RAD) has been devastated by historic flooding. Nearly all of its 26 buildings have suffered catastrophic damage, leaving artists without their studios, equipment, and artwork.
Chinatown Soup is raising funds to support RAD’s recovery through the sale of artworks by Ronaldy Navarro, one of our resident artists. Proceeds from sales will go directly to RAD’s artists to help cover rent, replace lost supplies, and rebuild their creative spaces.
The artworks on offer embody resilience, creativity, and a sense of play in conversation with the American experience. By purchasing one of these pieces, you’re not just acquiring a unique work of art—you’re helping artists restore the environments that are essential to their work and creative spirit, which make this country great.
How You Can Help:
Purchase Art: Artworks are sold as pairs for $100. 50% of proceeds will be donated to RAD's Flood Recovery Fund.
Together, we can help rebuild the studios and creative sanctuaries that RAD artists rely on.
Thank you for your support. With your generosity, we can help RAD artists return to doing what they love.
